My High Risk Pregnancy

Updated: Mar 2, 2020

After 2 miscarriages, an ectopic pregnancy and a scare with Sawyer... my pregnancy was NOT easy. (I'll post more about this later).

It took Garrett and I three years to have a successful pregnancy. A year of trying, and feeling the disappointment of the negative pregnancy test each month. Then, a year and a half of being pregnant but miscarrying twice- and having a scary ectopic pregnancy.

Conceiving is NOT easy for everyone

Our lives during this time were SCARY to say the least. My body went through so much being pregnant so many times. I had almost given up hope toward the end. We considered adoption, and then... I got pregnant again. My 4th pregnancy in 2 years. I was considered high risk so I had to get my blood drawn a total of 27 times throughout the pregnancy ( yeah, I counted). We had to have special tests, we worried the ENTIRE time. But in the end we got out miracle baby.

If you'd like to hear more about my miscarriages, how I dealt with it... etc. Let me know! I'm open to blogging about the uncomfortable stuff.
